Social Media Manager


Responsible for overseeing the Company’s social media strategy and other online marketing activities, including social influencer marketing and global social campaigns. Collaborate with the other marketing teams to integrate marketing efforts across platforms. This position requires the regular exercise of independent judgment and application of specialized social media expertise to support the overall brand marketing strategy. The Social Media Manager reports directly to the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Build and execute social media strategy and content across all social channels.
  • Create, edit, and publish daily content that aligns with our brand vision, builds meaningful community connections, and encourages authentic engagement.
  • Curate user-generated content to optimize customer, social influencer and brand ambassador submissions for creative digital and print campaigns.
  • Lead social influencer marketing strategy including identifying, recruiting and managing influencers to craft quality on-brand content.
  • Develop and communicate global social media strategy to appropriate PR lead for consistent brand voice and vision while consulting on content that allows for localization that feels authentic to each country.
  • Manage corporate event planning team to execute events that demonstrate PR strategy and represent brand at corporate and industry events.
  • Manage social media interns including hiring, training and supervising alongside Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer.
  • Strategize distribution of video content with video specialist through social video channels.
  • Keep abreast of latest development of key social media tools, best practices and emerging trends.
  • Serve as a social media expert, educating and making formal recommendations to internal teams on social and marketing channel value, best practices and ongoing evolution implications.
  • Conduct social media research and make recommendations about opportunities. Also monitor and report on competitive social media output.
  • Generate KPI report and benchmarks to effectively measure user behavior and satisfaction.
  • Identify and participate in blogs, communities, conferences and other events both off-line and online where a target audience is present to increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop integrated campaigns with specific target products and defined call to action if necessary.
  • Assist the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer in developing ecommerce marketing strategy.
  • Other responsibilities and opportunities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the social media space and/or related interactive marketing or communication discipline.
  3. Deep social media expertise with experience in driving social media strategy and executing social media programs.
  4. Demonstrated experience with social media monitoring tools or content management systems.
  5. Expertise with content and targeting functionality of major social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  6. Ability to thrive and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Active participate in social media channels.
  8. Strong creative and professional writing skills with an emphasis on brevity.
  9. Fortitude to stay calm under pressure.
  10. Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Retail Sales Brand Manager

DHC is seeking to fulfill a newly created role of Retail Sales Brand Manager responsible for identifying, creating and implementing compelling strategies for acquiring new national and regional retail accounts to elevate the DHC Brand in the US and Europe marketplaces. This position is also responsible for developing and rolling out scalable initiatives for DHC's existing retail channels to facilitate continual growth and Brand recognition. The Retail Sales Brand Manager is responsible for driving key metrics, like sales Return on Investment (ROI), through each step of the sales process. Opportunity management, recognizable sales channels and forecasting are vital.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Business Functional Results

  • Identify, create and champion brand strategy and brand building efforts in new market places, as well as service and develop strategies within our existing customer base across the US and Europe
  • Proven ability to obtain product evaluation with key national retailers
  • Responsible for expanding and strengthening existing customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability in preparing and delivering sales presentation to national accounts
  • Review retail sales goals and implement strategy to reach goals; work with internal and external customers regarding sales issues; regular review/evaluation of customer account sales orders
  • Participate in the development of seasonal marketing plans for key retail partners
  • Achieve assigned quantitative and qualitative sales goals and company imperatives
  • Create and conduct sales presentations
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to expand Brand recognition
  • Plan and execute in-store consumer marketing initiatives for retail partners
  • Continually seek incremental volume opportunities in existing accounts, as well as develop new sales opportunities

Managing Execution

  • Collaborate with CRO to create, develop and implement sales strategy for individual accounts
  • Track and meet budgeted sales targets by category; partnering with the CRO and Corporate Management to ensure priorities are identified and deadlines set to meet the desired results
  • Create, implement and monitor sale benchmarks such as written sales, average sale, traffic, and staffing where applicable; provide department analysis reporting percentages and volume on a monthly basis

Managing Relationships

  • Maintain and foster better relationships with counterparts, customer accounts and key customer figures
  • Collaborate with the CRO in the creation and execution of the annual strategic business plan
  • Build relationships with Vendors, Brokers and communicate with external and internal customer contacts on a regular basis to ensure high-level of customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Accountable to provide on-going and on-request reports to internal and external customers
  • Interface with multiple departments across the organization to ensure customer requirements are managed accordingly

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Seek and engage the Team members for their insight on plans and proposed projects; provide sales team leadership with timely updates as required; support and develop staff or contracted personnel; maintaining sales quotas and developing goals
  • Participate in the hiring of staff or contracted services, administering performance reviews, and applying disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Participate, develop and coordinate product education and training to increase customer’s knowledge and familiarity with the DHC Brand products

Education and/or Experience

  • At least eight (8) years of related sales experience with strong customer focus
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or related field required
  • Must have a minimum four (4) years of experience managing people and/or retail related projects
  • Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required
  • Exposure to a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows like interface
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products for communication and presentation
  • Ability to use company information systems

Customer Care Supervisor


The Customer Care Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of Customer Care Advisors and Senior Customer Care Advisors. This individual is expected to continuously grow their knowledge of all DHC policy and procedures, products, pricing and information related to servicing customers. Maintaining a professional attitude and flexibility for change is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Directs the activities of Customer Care Advisors and Senior Customer Care Advisors in an assigned section or sections to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Supervises and trains Customer Care Advisors and Senior Customer Care Advisors on Company and department policy and procedures.
  • Assists in hiring, developing, reviewing, and disciplining assigned section's performance.
  • Assist the Customer Care Advisors and Senior Customer Care Advisors by walking the call center floor and answering questions through IM's.
  • Monitors the customer inbound call queue.
  • Conducts and oversees the call monitoring process for up to 20 Customer Care Advisors and Senior Customer Care Advisors.
  • Assists, monitors and provides feedback to the assigned section who are conducting Live Chat sessions with DHC customers.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves non-routine, escalated or complex customer problems and questions.
  • Updates, reviews and adds taken PTO time in the assigned section's timecards.
  • Conducts monthly one on one meetings, monthly team meetings, and annual performance reviews for the assigned section.
  • Responsible for mail order deposits for USA, UK and Canada and reporting to Finance Department.
  • Facilitates customer service operations for USA, UK and Canada.
  • Maintains a variety of department reports.
  • Attend DHC product and supervisory trainings.
  • Supervises the Customer Care Department when the Customer Care Manager is not present.
  • Assists the Customer Care Manager with the development, design, improvement, and communication of call center procedures.
  • Is familiar with the application of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within company and the department.
  • Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines, experience, and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Responsibilities may include Customer Care and Senior Customer Care Advisor duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned including: opening and closing facility, stocking supplies, preparing reports for senior management and facilitating meetings.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises up to 20 Customer Care Advisors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; interviewing and training employees.
