Digital Marketing Manager

Summary

The Digital Marketing manager is responsible for developing, evaluating and executing digital marketing plans for the DHC brand. This person will manage SEO, SEM, retargeting / display advertising, affiliate programs, email campaigns, paid social ads, and provide analysis and strategies for improving the online performance of each. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in very hands on environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the brand’s identity including product, editorial and marketing initiatives to develop digital strategies that meet both financial and brand-building goals.
  • Plan and execute all digital campaigns.
  • Manage campaigns to meet and exceed targets for conversions and ROI within predetermined budgets.
  • Manage Email calendar and update digital marketing calendar.
  • Work with the creative team and content manager to develop all digital assets.
  • Drive continuous improvement through implementation of new and creative ideas; develop a robust test and learn plan.
  • Work with social media manager to maintain a balance between social advertising and authentic engagement.
  • Manage, optimize and report KPI's (e.g. sales, customer growth) for all digital marketing programs across all device types and all countries.
  • Conduct measurement and analysis on the effectiveness and efficient of existing digital programs, applying insights to the evaluation of new opportunities.
  • Identify new partnerships as well as opportunities for optimizing existing partnerships where appropriate based on brand strategies and initiatives.

  • Support EU business, with expert advice regarding digital marketing initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will closely supervise Online Marketing Assistant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Education and/or Experience

Social Media Strategist (Alameda, CA)

Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the Company's social media strategy and other digital marketing activities, including influencer marketing and global social campaigns. Collaborate with the other marketing teams to integrate marketing efforts across platforms. This position requires the regular exercise of independent judgment and application of specialized social media expertise with only minimal input or oversight by the PR Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Build and execute social media strategy and content across all social channels.
  • Create, edit, and publish daily content that aligns with our brand vision, builds meaningful community connections, and encourages authentic engagement.
  • Curate user-generated content to optimize customer, social influencer and brand ambassador submissions for creative digital and print campaigns.
  • Lead social influencer marketing strategy including identifying, recruiting and managing influencers to craft quality on-brand content.

Retail Sales Brand Manager (Flexible Work Location)

Summary

DHC is seeking to fulfill a newly created role of Retail Sales Brand Manager responsible for identifying, creating and implementing compelling strategies for acquiring new national and regional retail accounts to elevate the DHC Brand in the US and Europe marketplaces. This position is also responsible for developing and rolling out scalable initiatives for DHC’s existing retail channels to facilitate continual growth and Brand recognition. The Retail Sales Brand Manager is responsible for driving key metrics, like sales Return on Investment (ROI), through each step of the sales process. Opportunity management, recognizable sales channels and forecasting are vital. Work location is flexible.

Business Functional Results

  • Identify, create and champion brand strategy and brand building efforts in new market places, as well as service and develop strategies within our existing customer base across the US and Europe.
  • Proven ability to obtain product evaluation with key national retailers.
  • Responsible for expanding and strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability in preparing and delivering sales presentation to national accounts.
  • Review retail sales goals and implement strategy to reach goals; work with internal and external customers regarding sales issues; regular review/evaluation of customer account sales orders.

  • Collaborate with the CMO in the creation and execution of the annual strategic business plan.
  • Build relationships with Vendors, Brokers and communicate with external and internal customer contacts on a regular basis to ensure high-level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Accountable to provide on-going and on-request reports to internal and external customers.
  • Interface with multiple departments across the organization to ensure customer requirements are managed accordingly.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Seek and engage the Team members for their insight on plans and proposed projects; provide sales team leadership with timely updates as required; support and develop staff or contracted personnel; maintaining sales quotas and developing goals.
